Hardware

What hardware do I need?

A phone, iPhone or Android, plus a 360 spinner arm to mount it on. If you want a Share Station by the exit, add a tablet: iPad or Android. That is the whole list. There is no DSLR or GoPro to buy and no laptop. You do not need special equipment made only for us.

Does it work with my existing spinner?

Yes. Logibooth works with any 360 spinner arm that holds a phone securely, from any maker. There is nothing to connect to the motor and nothing to set up. The app uses the phone’s own motion sensor, the gyroscope, to notice the spin, so the arm only has to turn.

Which phone do I need?

Any recent iPhone or Android phone. You set the frame rate, the resolution, the clip length and the spin speed for each booth, so you can match the settings to the phone you have and the light in the room. Slow motion is smoother on iPhone than on Android.

Getting started

How do I start recording 360 videos?

Create a project, add a booth, mount your phone on the spinner arm, and start spinning. Logibooth notices the arm turning and starts recording by itself at the right moment. The recording screen shows the shortest spin time you need.

What video shapes and sizes can I record?

Clips come out tall, 9:16 (1080×1920). Make your intro, outro and overlay files that shape too, so nothing gets stretched or cropped.

How do I set up the Sharing Station on my tablet?

Install Logibooth on your iPad or Android tablet and log in with the same account as your phone. Open the same project and tap “Sharing Station”. Every clip the phone uploads then appears on the tablet, ready to watch, download and share.

Does Logibooth work without internet at the venue?

Partly, and here is where the line is. Guests still get their video: the phone makes its own small network, guests join by scanning a Wi-Fi QR code, and the videos back up to the cloud when the internet returns. But an email typed with no internet is not saved, and the review page will not open. If those matter to you, set that booth to cloud delivery before doors open.

Branding & music

How do I add an overlay to my videos?

An overlay is a see-through PNG image, made in the same shape as the video you record. Add one to your Brand Kit or to a project, and Logibooth places it on every clip. Making one takes under three minutes. The overlay tutorial shows you how.

How do I create an intro or outro?

Any short video works, as long as it is the same shape as the video you record. Add it in your Brand Kit or in your project settings. Logibooth then joins it to every clip by itself. Our tutorials show you how to make both.

How do I add music to my 360 videos?

In your project, open the audio section and import a song. You can cut it down to the exact part you want, right in the app. Save songs to your library with mood tags, and pick a default song for each event.

Account, Pro & data

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Open Profile → Logibooth Pro in the app. Pro changes one thing: whose brand is on the clips. The Logibooth watermark comes off, and your logo and overlay artwork go on. Everything else is already in the free plan: events, effects, guest requests. Your app store handles the payment, Apple’s or Google’s.

How long do you keep guest data?

Guest contact details are deleted 14 days after the event. That window is fixed, so it is the same on every event and every plan, and you do not have to set anything. You can delete an event’s guest data yourself sooner at any time. Booth videos are kept while your subscription is active. Our data deletion page has the details, and explains how to ask for removal.

How do I delete my account or data?

You can delete your account inside the app. This removes your projects and your data. Guests can ask us to delete their clips or their contact details at any time. See logibooth.com/data-deletion.

Still need help?

The tutorials show you the app step by step. Or email us, and we will help you before your next event.
